1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently of government. It does not store official records, retrieve them for visitors, conduct official checks, or submit documents.

The site identifies relevant custodians, including the Quitman County Sheriff, courts in the Pataula Judicial Circuit, the GBI Georgia Crime Information Center, and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry, and may link to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated processes against the site
• Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law
• Harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate a person with information found here
• Use site content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
• Interfere with site performance or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No information obtained here or through a linked service may be used to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone; such conduct may also violate criminal law. The Georgia Sex Offender Registry is published under O.C.G.A. §42-1-12 for public-safety awareness. It does not authorize vigilantism, employment blacklisting, housing discrimination, or misconduct toward a registrant.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Our partners' tools are likewise not offered here to evaluate applicants, tenants, insurance risks, or credit. You must not use site or linked-tool data to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check for a regulated purpose must be obtained through a legally authorized, FCRA-compliant provider or the appropriate official GBI/GCIC channel.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. Only a licensed Georgia attorney can advise how a Quitman County charge, conviction, warrant, or record-restriction rule applies to particular facts.

Quitman County Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Written permission is required to copy, alter, distribute, or create derivative material from that content.

Georgia law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from use of the site must be brought in a court located in Georgia. Public-record access in the state is governed by the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§50-18-70 through 50-18-77, and criminal-history dissemination includes the rules in O.C.G.A. §§35-3-34 and 35-3-35.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or terminated at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability
